I finally got around to updating all of the information and goals on my blog. :D I’ll be taking some new photos soon, too.

I hit a really, really rough patch months ago which messed up my progress. My issue with weight has always stemmed from depression and compulsive comfort eating, so when I started feeling out of control, depressed, and stressed, I began eating without realising what I was doing. The worst part about this habit is that when I eat horribly, I feel worse, so I eat more to fill the void, which makes me feel even worse and the cycle never ends. I finally got everything under control about four months ago, but by that time I had gained about ten or so pounds back. I was surprised it wasn’t more.
I started eating right again and exercising. Then, I met my amazing boyfriend and started eating even better and exercising more. I’m back down to 230 pounds, which is 5 pounds less than I weighed at the end of last June. I think this was a great wake up call and second chance I don’t plan to waste!
